A room shaped around music
Give music a place of its own.
A dedicated listening system can change the pace of a room. You take a seat, choose a record or a playlist, and hear the performance unfold in front of you. The speakers become part of the room’s architecture, while the music becomes the reason to stay.
Bowers & Wilkins offers several floorstanding paths to that experience. SES begins with the room, the listening position, and the way you enjoy music. From there, we select the right speakers and design the electronics, placement, wiring, and control around them.
The foundation
The room belongs in the system plan.
Two speakers can create a convincing stage when their relationship to the listener is thoughtfully planned. SES considers the width of the room, the distance to the seat, nearby walls, furnishings, flooring, and where components can live discreetly. The result is a system that feels natural to use and comfortable to live with.
Placement
Position speakers and seating to create a stable, spacious presentation.
Partnership
Match amplification and sources to the speakers and listening habits.
Finish
Plan cables, equipment location and daily control as part of the room.
Three starting points
Choose the character of the room.
These are current Bowers & Wilkins floorstanding models that SES can discuss as part of a complete stereo proposal. The right choice depends on the space, listening level, visual preference and the electronics that will support it.
600 Series
603 S3
A full-scale entry to a dedicated floorstanding system, with a Continuum midrange and two bass drivers. A compelling starting point for a generous living or listening room.
700 Series
703 S3
A step into the 700 Series with the distinctive Tweeter-on-Top form and a decoupled Continuum midrange. Consider it when detail, scale and a sculptural presence all matter.
700 Series flagship
702 S3
The 700 Series flagship adds three Aerofoil Profile bass cones and a downward-firing port. SES can assess whether its scale suits the room and the listening experience you want.
The complete setup
Speakers are the beginning.
A stereo system also needs amplification, a way to reach your music and a control experience that fits your day. That could mean a compact streaming arrangement, a listening setup with vinyl and digital sources, or a carefully housed equipment stack. SES works across multiple electronics brands and recommends the combination that fits the selected speakers, room and priorities.
We plan power and wiring, position the speakers, set up sources and network connections, and refine the system in the room. If the listening space also serves television or cinema, we can design that use into the same plan without making the room feel complicated.
Make it yours
Start with the music you love.
Tell SES where you would like to listen, what you play most often and whether you prefer the speakers to make a statement or sit quietly within the design. A room photo and approximate dimensions help us begin. We can then recommend a speaker and electronics direction, explain the installation scope and prepare one SES proposal for the complete experience.
Every system is selected for the actual space. Model availability and final configuration are confirmed during the proposal process.
