The pleasure of scale
Hear the room come alive.
There is a particular ease to a satisfying stereo system. A vocal appears in front of you, the rhythm has body and a quiet passage still holds your attention. A pair of floorstanding speakers can make that experience feel generous without turning the room into a showroom.
SVS offers tower speakers across its Prime and Ultra Evolution families. The models provide different cabinet sizes and design approaches, but the decision begins with the room. SES looks at listening distance, available floor space, preferred volume, bass expectations and the look of the home before shaping a system.
The listening experience
A full sound is more than loud sound.
Floorstanding speakers have space for larger driver systems and cabinet volume. That can support a sense of ease, dynamic reach and low-frequency weight. A convincing stereo image still depends on the speakers working together with the seat and surrounding surfaces. SES plans those relationships before finalizing equipment.
Weight
Give bass lines body without losing their shape.
Space
Make room for width and depth in the recording.
Control
Keep the music composed at the levels you enjoy.
Three SVS starting points
Match the speaker to the room and the way you listen.
01 · Prime Pinnacle
A graceful way into towers.
Prime Pinnacle is a three-way SVS floorstanding design with three independently tuned rear ports and a relatively slim footprint. It can serve a living room that needs music to feel substantial without dominating the furniture plan.
02 · Ultra Evolution Tower
A step toward greater resolution.
The Ultra Evolution Tower is part of SVS’s current tower lineup. Its cabinet and driver design give SES another path for a dedicated listening space or a generous multipurpose room.
03 · Ultra Evolution Pinnacle
The larger-scale option.
Ultra Evolution Pinnacle is the flagship tower in this group. SVS describes its acoustically centered cabinet and force-balanced woofer array as part of its approach to coherent imaging and deep bass. SES will assess whether its scale suits the room.
Five planning decisions
The room shapes the sound before music starts.
01 · Floor space
Allow for the cabinet, stable placement and a comfortable path around furniture.
02 · Wall distance
Speaker location changes bass balance, depth and the sense of space.
03 · Listening seat
The chosen seat helps determine spacing, toe-in and the stereo image.
04 · Amplification
Select electronics for the speaker load, preferred level and source plan.
05 · Bass plan
Decide whether the towers alone meet your goals or a subwoofer adds useful extension and control.
What completes the system
What completes an SVS stereo system?
These SVS towers are passive speakers, so a suitable stereo amplifier or integrated amplifier provides power. Streaming, a turntable, television audio or other sources can be included according to how you actually listen. SES has many electronics paths and chooses the pairing after reviewing the room and the selected speakers.
SVS is known for subwoofers, but a separate sub is a design choice rather than an automatic add-on. SES first listens to what the towers do in your room, then considers a subwoofer and integration plan when greater low-frequency reach or more even bass would improve the result.
Questions homeowners ask
A confident path to better listening.
Do tower speakers still benefit from a subwoofer?
They can. SVS towers deliver substantial bass on their own; a carefully integrated subwoofer can add extension or help distribute bass more evenly. SES recommends one when it serves the room and your listening goals.
Can these speakers work in a living room?
Yes. Prime Pinnacle and the Ultra Evolution towers offer different sizes and visual presence. SES plans clearances, furniture and placement so the speakers belong in the space.
What amplifier will I need?
SES selects amplification after choosing the speaker and understanding your listening distance, preferred level and sources. There is no single mandatory pairing.
Will SES tune the final setup?
Yes. SES positions the towers, configures sources, checks the system at the listening seat and refines bass integration where needed.
The SES process
Plan, place, listen and refine.
SES starts with the room dimensions, seating and the music you enjoy. We propose an SVS tower scale, compatible amplification and a source plan, then coordinate delivery, placement and clean wiring. Once everything is installed, we listen and refine the system in the actual room.
